The Jean Cocteau Museum, located in Menton in the Alpes-Maritimes, is a site museum and literary museum. It occupies the Bastion, a building that constitutes a heritage landmark in the city. The museum houses collections devoted to the artist Jean Cocteau, notably portraits and self-portraits, as well as works testifying to his relationships with his contemporaries. The museum is also home to the Wedding Hall, a unique space associated with the artist's history and Menton. Temporary exhibitions regularly enrich the museum's programming.
