The Chamonix-Mont-Blanc Crystal Museum offers a mineralogy exhibition centered on the Alps and collections from around the world. The tour begins along the Alpine chain, highlighting specimens from French, Italian, Swiss and Austrian massifs, particularly Mont-Blanc, notably featuring fluorite, quartz and axinite. The exhibition then extends to all five continents, presenting crystals from French mines and quarries as well as iconic pieces from Africa, Asia, South America and Oceania. A temporary exhibition titled "Mineral Treasure: the Raymond Thibault Collection" is on display until December 2027, presenting around a hundred specimens collected over approximately fifty years. The museum welcomes groups by reservation and offers guided tours as well as activities for children from six years old.
