The Museum of Figurines, located in Droiturier in Allier, is a local history museum founded by Marie and Hervé Maneval. It presents a collection of hand-painted historical figurines, reproducing scenes and historical moments from Antiquity to World War I. Dioramas and reconstructions stage key periods: the Templars, the knights of Bourbonnais, the Napoleonic era. The museum also displays authentic archaeological objects from battlefields, as well as a Napoleonic collection comprising approximately 800 pieces including period documents and rare historical objects. Visitors can discover the figurine creation process during free or guided tours. Open year-round from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., the museum is located near the Château de La Palice.
