The Museum of Art and Archaeology of Aurillac is an institution. It presents varied collections covering ethnography, archaeology, ancient art, contemporary creations and natural sciences. Located in Cantal, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, the museum is part of a municipal museum complex that includes the Museum of Volcanoes. The museum welcomes the public from Sunday to Friday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., as well as on the first Sunday of the month from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Temporary exhibitions are also offered at the Écuries Jardin des Carmes.
