The Ciotat Museum is established in La Ciotat, in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. It has held the label since September 17, 2003, by virtue of the French Heritage Code. The museum is rooted in the history and local identity of La Ciotat, a commune in the Bouches-du-Rhône. It is part of the network of heritage institutions recognized throughout the national territory.
