The Basque Museum and Museum of the History of Bayonne is located in Bayonne in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. It occupies two heritage buildings, the Dagourette house and the Château-Neuf. The museum defines itself as a museum of history and society, whose collections document the culture, language and history of the Basque Country and the city of Bayonne.
