The Centre for Resistance, Deportation and Memory is a municipal institution located in Blois, Loir-et-Cher, dedicated to the history of World War II. Located since 2019 on Victor-Hugo Square, the Centre offers a permanent exhibition of 225 m² presenting archives and period objects, partly bequeathed by former deported persons and resistance fighters, including weapons, uniforms and photographs. Temporary exhibitions regularly enrich the offer, addressing other historical themes such as the Rwandan genocide or Irish independence. Beyond its collections, the Centre programmes lectures, screenings, theatrical performances and meetings allowing visitors to discover history in various forms. It received in 2026 the national label "Tourism and Disability" recognizing its accessibility for four categories of disability.
