Le Panier and the Vieille Charité

In Marseille's oldest neighbourhood, the Vieille Charité, a former almshouse built by Pierre Puget around a 17th-century arcaded courtyard, now houses the Museum of Mediterranean Archaeology; then the Musée Cantini, in a 17th-century townhouse, for sculptor Jules Cantini's donation.

Château Borély, decorative arts and earthenware

Final stop in an 18th-century bastide surrounded by landscaped parkland, where the Museum of Decorative Arts, Earthenware and Fashion displays the celebrated 18th-century Marseille faïence, before a stroll through the formal gardens.
