Villa Atrata was opened in May 2022 by Gil Presti, who previously worked with Larry Gagosian and co-founded Campoli Presti gallery in London and Paris. The project advocates for a measured approach to contemporary creation and presents exhibitions by historical and contemporary artists working across painting, drawing, sculpture, and performance. The Paris extension, opened in October 2023, occupies a 22 sqm space in the Jardin du Palais Royal. The gallery's programme balances historical figures with contemporary practitioners exploring diverse artistic practices.
