Villa Atrata
Angles-sur-l'Anglin
Founded in May 2022 by Gil Presti in Angles-sur-l'Anglin, Villa Atrata is a collaborative project advocating for a measured approach to contemporary creation. The main space is housed in a repurposed Middle-Age chapel in direct contact with nature, named after Francis Picabia's Transparences series. The Paris extension, opened in October 2023, is a 22 sqm gallery in the historic Jardin du Palais Royal. The programme presents contemporary artists including Katherine Bradford, Liz Deschenes, Nick Mauss, Amy Sillman, and John Miller, alongside research and residency activities.
