The Pasteur Museum is located in the Parisian apartment where Louis Pasteur lived during the last seven years of his life, within the Pasteur Institute. The museum offers an immersion into the history of the scientist and the institution founded in his name. The spaces, preserved in their original state, bear witness to the daily life of the Pasteur couple, while the room of scientific souvenirs displays the original instruments illustrating his discoveries. The visit concludes at the crypt with Byzantine inspiration where Louis Pasteur and his wife rest. The museum, currently closed for restoration until November 2028, is virtually accessible on the Google Arts and Culture platform.
