The National Maritime Museum of Paris, located at the Trocadéro, is an institution dedicated to maritime history and contemporary maritime issues. Its collections explore the relationships between the navy, art and society across several centuries. The museum offers a reinvented pathway combining the discovery of significant works and reflection on current maritime challenges. It regularly hosts temporary exhibitions, events and educational activities for all audiences, from young children to adults. The site includes complementary services such as a restaurant and a bookshop-gift shop. The museum is part of a national network with locations in Brest, Port-Louis, Rochefort and Toulon.
