The Napoleon Museum is located in the Pommerie manor in Cendrieux, in Périgord, in a building listed in the Supplementary Inventory of Historic Monuments. It presents a private collection of over 500 objects, paintings and sculptures from the Bonaparte family heritage, of which 150 pieces are classified as Historic Monuments. The museum opened to the public in 1999, allowing visitors to discover in the intimate setting of a family residence memories of the Imperial family, several of which have been transmitted to the national heritage. The collection notably includes dioramas depicting scenes from the imperial era, enriched by recent donations. The museum operates according to a seasonal calendar, with guided tours organized mainly during the summer months.
