The Musée du Vermandois is a local history museum located in Vermand, in the Aisne department. It occupies a building situated on Rue de la Chaussée Romaine and offers an exploration of regional heritage and history through several thematic spaces covering prehistory, late antiquity, religion, traditions and contemporary periods. The museum notably preserves a Gallo-Roman cemetery and collections related to the Premonstratensian order, attesting to the historical importance of the site. Open on Sundays from March to the end of October from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 6pm, it also welcomes visitors by appointment year-round and complements its activities with a regular program of lectures, temporary exhibitions and publications.
