Musée du Grand Siècle

The Museum of the Grand Siècle is dedicated to 17th-century art and collecting practices from that period. Located in Saint-Cloud in the Hauts-de-Seine, the museum is currently in the prefiguration phase, with its collections presented in a pavilion located in Sceaux. The architectural project plans for the transformation of the former Sully barracks into a museum, with archaeological excavations and work currently underway. Its collections include paintings, drawings, and works testifying to the artistic wealth of the Grand Siècle, enriched by major donations. The museum also offers educational resources and cultural events designed to explore this heritage.
