The Bougon Tumuli Museum is an archaeological site museum located in a rural area in Deux-Sèvres, in Nouvelle-Aquitaine. It holds the label. The museum offers an approach combining a visit to prehistoric funerary structures with free access and a museum tour organized into six rooms covering the history of humanity from its origins to the Neolithic period. The site includes a necropolis consisting of tumuli and structures built by prehistoric societies, directly accessible to visitors. In addition to these remains, the museum offers educational activities, children's and family workshops, allowing the discovery and practice of prehistoric techniques.
