Musée des Troupes de montagne

The Museum of Mountain Troops is located at the Bastille Fort in Grenoble, Isère. It is dedicated to the historical and military heritage of mountain troops, offering a tour covering approximately 130 years of military history. The museum features a permanent exhibition supplemented by temporary exhibitions, as well as a heritage library and thematic collections. Access to the site is by cable car or by the Bastille walking trails, with facilities adapted for people with reduced mobility. Entrance is free; a multilingual audio guide (French, English, German, Italian) is available for a fee.
