The Museum of Urban, Intercity and Rural Transport is an ecomuseum founded and managed by the Amtuir association, recognized as being in the public interest since 1967. Located in Chelles in Hauts-de-Seine, it houses collections dedicated to the history of transport in France and the evolution of urban and rural mobility. It is committed to documenting and preserving this technical and social heritage to better understand the transformations in transport. The museum opens its doors from March to October according to a limited schedule, complemented by participation in national heritage events. A shuttle service connects the site to Chelles-Gournay railway station, facilitating visitor access.
