Located in La Guérinière in Vendée, the Museum of Traditions of the Isle of Noirmoutier offers a documented approach to the daily life of the island's inhabitants in past centuries. Its permanent collections bear witness to the traditional activities that structured local life: maritime activities, salt production, as well as island housing recreated through period interiors. The museum also preserves a collection of traditional costumes and headdresses characteristic of Noirmoutier. Each year, a temporary exhibition allows visitors to revisit or deepen their understanding of certain aspects of this heritage. The establishment welcomes individual visitors and groups according to seasonal hours, with the possibility of guided tours by reservation.
