Musée des tapisseries

The Museum of Tapestries is a museum with official designation since 2003, located in Aix-en-Provence in Provence-Alpes-Côte-d'Azur. Housed in a heritage building of the city, the museum is dedicated to tapestries and constitutes a reference cultural institution for this category of textile arts. It regularly offers exhibitions and educational activities, notably the "Cultural Middays" organized twice a month. The museum welcomes the public according to a regular schedule, except for exceptional closures for renovation or construction work. Its operation is ensured by the City Hall of Aix-en-Provence.
