The Vercors Prehistory Museum is a site museum located in Vassieux-en-Vercors, in the Drôme, in the heart of the Vercors Regional Natural Park. It is dedicated to prehistory and is part of an approach to enhance the prehistoric heritage of the territory. The museum has undertaken a complete overhaul of its museum layout and collections, with reopening scheduled for May 2026. It offers an annual program including exhibitions, educational activities and workshops, including the European Days of Archaeology and festive events devoted to prehistory.
