The Emile Gilioli Workshop is a museum established in Saint-Martin-de-la-Cluze, in Isère, dedicated to sculptor Emile Gilioli (1911-1977). Installed on the top floor of a typical house, the workshop has been preserved in its original state since the artist's death, retaining his works, sketches and objects of inspiration. The ground floor presents an exhibition on the life of the sculptor, notably portraits and the bronze sculpture "Paquier" from 1951. The site offers an immersion into the creative process of this pioneering artist of abstract sculpture, known for his work merging sculpture and architecture, his organic forms and his recurring motifs of line and sphere. The museum is open to the public on Saturday mornings and also offers group visits by reservation.
