The Museum of Shirt Making and Men's Elegance is located in Argenton-sur-Creuse, in Indre. It traces the local industrial history of shirt making, an activity that was born 160 years ago in the city, through the recreation of a workshop and the presentation of the work of shirt makers. The museum also displays the historical evolution of the men's shirt and its accessories from the Middle Ages to the present day, exploring its clothing and material transformations. The permanent collections are complemented by temporary exhibitions and a textile garden, offering a documented approach to clothing as a cultural and heritage testimony.
