Musée
Fréjus · Var · Provence-Alpes-Côte-d'Azur

The Fréjus Local History Museum is located in a bourgeois residence in the heart of the historic city. Its collections document different aspects of the intimate and collective life of Fréjus residents in the 19th and 20th centuries. The museum offers an exploration of past daily life, traditional trades, agricultural practices, as well as local festivals and traditions such as the Bravade. It also presents collections related to arts and ceramics. The museum gives particular prominence to the Malpasset dam disaster in 1959, a major event in the region's contemporary history.
