The Curie Museum is a scientific institution located in Paris, in the 5th arrondissement, in the heart of the Montagne Sainte-Geneviève district. Housed in the Curie Pavilion, the former laboratory of Marie Curie built between 1912 and 1915, the museum traces the history of the Curie family and their discoveries in radioactivity. Its collections, of great richness and diversity, bring together archival documents, scientific instruments, photographs and objects related to the Paris Radium Institute. The museum offers a permanent exhibition structured around four themes, supplemented by a historical resource center, temporary exhibitions and a program of educational and cultural activities. Labeled as a House of Notable Figures, the Curie Museum combines the preservation of scientific heritage with the dissemination of scientific culture.
