The André Voulgre Museum, located in Mussidan in Dordogne, is a museum dedicated to popular arts and traditions. Housed in a historic Carthusian monastery surrounded by a tree-lined park, it presents the evolution of Périgord society and local crafts, from artisanal work to industry. The museum offers a tour of the furnished residence, allowing visitors to discover the art of living and traditional practices of Périgord over two centuries. It also hosts traveling exhibitions and offers visits tailored to groups, school classes, and families. The site also includes a space dedicated to the Resistance, with a memorial and thematic trails.
