The MINERAIL museum, located in Messeix in Puy-de-Dôme, occupies the industrial complex of the Saint-Louis Pit. It is dedicated to the history of local mining exploitation and the daily life of miners, covering more than a century and a half of activity. The site, maintained by the Saint-Louis Pit association, is recognized as a remarkable industrial heritage site in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. Guided tours, accessible to all audiences, allow visitors to discover how the mine functioned, the work of miners, and the workers' towns connected to it. The museum also offers regular activities and welcomes groups and school visits by reservation.
