The Manufacture des Gobelins is an institution of the Mobilier national located in Paris, dedicated to the conservation, restoration, and creation in the decorative arts. The institution preserves a collection of more than one hundred thousand heritage and functional items, including notably tapestries, furniture, carpets, bronzes, and upholstery textiles. It perpetuates exceptional know-how dating back to the seventeenth century, while supporting contemporary creation and French design. The Manufacture houses restoration workshops, offers exhibitions and thematic visits, and makes its collections available through digital means. It ranks among the major heritage sites of France and remains an active center for research, training, and artistic creation.
