Le Soum is a museum space dedicated to the arts and folk traditions of high mountains, located in Saint-Véran in the Hautes-Alpes. It is part of the network of museum spaces of the Queyras Regional Natural Park, a territory dedicated to the preservation of alpine heritage and biodiversity. The museum documents the ways of life, know-how and cultural practices of the inhabitants of this very high altitude region, among the highest villages in the Alps. It contributes to the mission of awareness-raising and education about the territory carried out by the regional park.
