The Frac Sud - City of Contemporary Art is an art center dedicated to contemporary practices, located in Marseille in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. It hosts exhibitions, contemporary art collections and distributes works across different media: painting, sculpture, photography, video and artist editions. The institution offers diverse programming combining temporary exhibitions, artist residencies, workshops and educational visits for all audiences. It also carries out outreach projects throughout its regional territory and collaborates with neighboring heritage institutions. The building also houses a bookstore specializing in contemporary art, a café-restaurant and spaces available for rent.
