Musée de la guerre
Fouilloy · Somme · Hauts-de-France

The Sir John Monash Centre is a World War I museum located in Fouilloy, in the Somme, near the military cemetery and the Australian memorial of Villers-Bretonneux. It traces the Australian experience on the Western Front through interactive multimedia installations and period testimonies: letters, diaries and photographs of Australian soldiers. The centre functions as an interpretation centre for the Australian Remembrance Trail, a memorial route dedicated to the Australian presence in the region during the Great War. A mobile application allows an immersive visit of the cemetery, the memorial and the centre itself. Access is free and the centre is open daily, with hours varying according to the season.
