Centre d'exposition Fabrique Normant

Romorantin-Lanthenay · Loir-et-Cher · Centre-Val de Loire

The Fabrique Normant is an exhibition center located in Romorantin-Lanthenay, in Loir-et-Cher. It occupies a former industrial site that has been rehabilitated in the city center, combining historical and contemporary architecture. The site includes an exhibition center, the Céra'brique collection accessible through free or guided visits with workshops for young audiences, and the Municipal Music Conservatory. The Fabrique Normant bears witness to Romorantin's industrial heritage, particularly the woolen cloth factory founded by Antoine Normant around 1800, some of whose buildings, such as the weaving room built in 1902, illustrate the use of reinforced concrete according to engineer François Hennebique's techniques.
