The CAPC is Bordeaux's contemporary art museum, an established institution. It is located at 7 rue Ferrère in Bordeaux, Gironde. The museum programs temporary exhibitions dedicated to contemporary artists as well as current issues related to colonial history and visual arts. In addition to its exhibition galleries, the CAPC has a permanent collection and offers regular guided tours, workshops and events accessible to all audiences. The museum also houses a library, a café and has spaces dedicated to children. It is open Tuesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., closed on public holidays.
