Village-Musée de la Combe de Savoie

Grésy-sur-Isère · Savoie · Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes

The Village-Museum of the Combe de Savoie is an ecomuseum located in Grésy-sur-Isère in Savoie, on the hillside of the right bank of the Isère, between Montmélian and Albertville, within the boundaries of the Massif des Bauges Regional Natural Park. The site brings together more than 10,000 objects of local heritage organized in around twenty themed reconstructed houses, covering varied fields: daily life, traditional trades, agricultural equipment, school, forge, mill, beekeeping and printing. The collections bear witness to Savoyard rural heritage from past generations and notably include everyday objects, agricultural machinery and equipment from various trades of yesteryear. The tour, entirely covered and accessible to people with reduced mobility, extends over approximately 350 meters. The site regularly hosts temporary exhibitions and cultural events organized by the association "Les Coteaux du Salin".
