The Henri Theillou Museum, managed by the Cultural Association of Friends of the Interdepartmental Hospital Center of Clermont, is dedicated to the history of psychiatry in the Oise. Opened in 2003, the museum traces the evolution of representations of madness since the Revolution, as well as the evolution of psychiatric practices and treatments during the 20th century. The collections bring together photographs, films, everyday objects and medical equipment, complemented by testimonies from former members of the nursing staff. Located at the Isarien Hospital Center, in Clermont in Oise (Hauts-de-France), the museum is accessible free of charge by appointment.
