The Opinel Museum, located in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne in Savoy, is dedicated to the history of the famous Savoyard cutlery founded in 1890 by Joseph Opinel. Set up over nearly 700 m², it offers permanent and temporary exhibitions tracing the major events of the brand and its evolution. The museum, free to enter, is open to all audiences with fun visit materials for children and multilingual brochures. It complements the visit of two giant monuments in the shape of Opinel knives visible in the city center, thus becoming a local tourist landmark.
