The International Museum of Perfumery is established in Grasse, in the Alpes-Maritimes region, a territory historically renowned for its traditions and expertise in the fragrance industry. As an institution, it falls under the protection and control regime defined by the French Heritage Code. The museum is dedicated to the collection, conservation and presentation of collections relating to the history, techniques and cultures of perfumery. Its collections and scientific activities reflect the importance of Grasse as a major center of perfume production and innovation.
