The Loir-et-Cher Firefighters Museum is located within the main emergency response center in Vendôme. It offers more than 600 m² of exhibition space dedicated to the history and equipment of firefighters, from the past to contemporary times. The collections include full-scale dioramas, hand pumps, motorcycles and several intervention trucks, as well as an uniform exhibition tracing the evolution of the profession. The museum operates by mandatory reservation and welcomes visitors on the second Thursday of each month or for organized groups. The visit lasts an average of one hour and thirty minutes.
