The Museum of Mother-of-Pearl and Tableware is located in Méru in the Oise. It is dedicated to the preservation and transmission of the traditional craftsmanship related to mother-of-pearl and tableware, a domain of historical excellence in the region. The museum offers collections documenting this tradition, as well as temporary exhibitions and educational programming for families and schools. It has recently been enriched by the acquisition of the Fan Museum. The museum offers regular guided tours, as well as an immersive experience in the form of an escape game. A gift shop offers contemporary creations in mother-of-pearl and materials crafted according to traditional techniques.
