The Museum of Youth Illustration (MIJ), also officially known as the Anne de Beaujeu Museum, is located in Moulins in Allier. It is one of the rare establishments in France and in the world entirely dedicated to illustration for young people. The museum combines a cultural project centered on image, books and childhood with a historic heritage setting. Its missions include the preservation and promotion of original works, making collections accessible to all audiences, transmitting a culture of image through mediation, and supporting contemporary creation in children's publishing. The MIJ thus conducts artistic and cultural awareness activities intended for both children and adults.
