The Museum of Contemporary Art in Montélimar, located in the heart of the city in Drôme, offers temporary exhibitions dedicated to nationally and internationally renowned artists. Since 2024, the programming has been primarily oriented towards photography, with exhibitions such as those by William Klein and Sébastião Salgado. The permanent collections are mainly comprised of the donation from Drôme painter and collector Pierre Boncompain, including paintings, pastels, tapestries and graphic works by masters such as Picasso, Chagall, Renoir and Bonnard. The museum offers guided tours, flash visits and educational programs adapted for all audiences. Located at 1 avenue Saint-Martin in the Public Services Building, it is accessible to people with reduced mobility and easily accessible by public transport.
