The Museum of Prehistory of Grand-Pressigny is a departmental museum located in Indre-et-Loire, in the Centre-Val de Loire region. It is situated in a rural area and is dedicated to the study of prehistoric societies. The museum's collections explore the social, technical and economic aspects of Prehistory, with particular attention to the flint of Grand-Pressigny, a major archaeological phenomenon in Touraine. The museum offers various forms of visits and educational programs, including free visits, guided tours, family visits and school visits, as well as archaeological demonstrations.
