The Priory of Vieux Logis is a museum located in Nice, in the Alpes-Maritimes, in a former mill that became a farm and then a priory. Developed from 1922 by the Reverend Dominican Father Alfred Lemerre, it was inaugurated in 1939 and presents collections of medieval religious art as well as everyday objects and furniture dating from the 14th to 17th centuries. The museum recreates a 15th-century interior distributed across thirteen rooms, organized thematically: dining room, kitchen, Renaissance bedroom, chapel and sacristy. The collections reflect Alfred Lemerre's interest in ancient art and combine quality art pieces with everyday objects, creating a coherent and documentary ensemble of the medieval and Renaissance past. Visits are by appointment through the Masséna museum.
