The Museum of Drawing and Original Prints is the only French museum entirely dedicated to printed works. Located in Gravelines in the North, it occupies the historic buildings of the Arsenal, whose structures date from the 16th to 18th centuries. Its collection comprises approximately 28,000 pieces, consisting mainly of prints (88%), supplemented by drawings and matrices, covering the period from the 15th century to contemporary times. The museum notably houses major works by Albrecht Dürer, Gustave Doré and masters of Japanese printmaking. Beyond its exhibitions, the museum offers an active printmaking workshop open to the public, artist residencies and regular educational activities as an institution.
