The Compagnonnage Museum is located in Tours, in Indre-et-Loire. It is, within the meaning of the Heritage Code. The museum preserves collections dedicated to crafts and artisanal skills, notably covering stone, metal, leather, textiles, food and tools. These collections bear witness to the history of compagnonnage, a tradition of transmitting knowledge and professional mastery. The museum complements its educational and commercial offerings with a shop offering publications, games and objects related to its themes.
