The Compagnonnage Museum is located in Tours, in Indre-et-Loire. It is, within the meaning of the Heritage Code. The museum preserves collections dedicated to crafts and artisanal skills, notably covering stone, metal, leather, textiles, food and tools. These collections bear witness to the history of compagnonnage, a tradition of transmitting knowledge and professional mastery.
