The Sévigné Rocks Museum is a site museum and literary museum located in Vitré, in Ille-et-Vilaine. Labeled "Musée de France" since 2003, it falls within the heritage framework defined by the Heritage Code. It combines the study of a particular geographical site with the exploration of a literary theme, that of the Marquise de Sévigné, a major figure in French correspondence of the seventeenth century. The museum relies on this dual foundation—place and texts—to offer an approach to Breton heritage and literary history.
