The Museum of the Sedentary Cannoneers of Lille, located in the heart of the city at 44 rue des Canonniers, is dedicated to the history of this Lille military brotherhood. Operating entirely on a volunteer basis, the museum preserves and showcases a collection of military objects including weapons, uniforms, documents and historical records. Each preserved piece illustrates the significant events in Lille's history, from periods of conflict to times of peace. The museum offers guided tours suited to all audiences and also has a Sainte-Barbe room, a 160 m² space available for rental. The establishment is committed to passing on local and military heritage to its visitors.
