The Museum of the Former Bishop's Palace, unofficially known as the Dauphinois Museum, is established in Grenoble in Isère. It is located in the former monastery of Sainte-Marie d'en-Haut and notably includes a Baroque chapel and historic gardens. Its collections embrace regional history and heritage, covering Alpine prehistory, archaeology, folk arts, the history of the Alps as well as Dauphinois cultures and traditions. The museum regularly offers thematic temporary exhibitions exploring varied subjects, from local history to ethnographic art. It is part of the departmental network of eleven museums in Isère.
