Beaugency · Loiret · Centre-Val de Loire

The Daniel Vannier Museum, located in Beaugency Castle, is a digital art center. Housed in a medieval and Renaissance building dating back to the Middle Ages and modified from the 15th century onwards, it presents a permanent exhibition of digital creations around the themes "Arts, Sciences and Heritage." The museum offers an immersive approach to heritage through digital installations occupying more than one thousand square meters, including a 360° room and an immersive dome. The works, designed by plastic artist Jérémie Bellot and his collective AV-Exciters, dialogue with the castle's architecture through interplays of light and projections. Evening video mapping shows complement the programming during summer periods.
