The House of Poaching is a museum dedicated to the tradition of illegal hunting in Sologne, located in Chaon in Loir-et-Cher. The museum explores this practice through three angles: history, technique, and imagination, progressively revealing Solognian cultural identity. Its approach combines interactive and playful elements for all ages with contemporary artistic creations, offering an immersion in this little-known world. Visitors can access a free visit, audioguided in several languages, or guided tours, complemented by activities and film screenings. Unique in its architecture and content, the institution operates partly thanks to volunteers and offers an adjacent botanical trail.
